Baru-baru ini band asal Maryland, USA bernama Good Charlotte manggung di Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta. Gw sempet ngobrol bareng sang gitarisnya si Benji lewat telpon :
TONY (T) : Heyyyy Benji, how u doin?
BENJI (B) : Yess, im good!
T : This is the 1st time u coming 2 Indonesia? Do u enjoy it?
B : Yeah, alot so far. And cant wait to comeback with the whole band.
T : What did u think bout Indonesia before u actually got here?
B : Well actually suppose to came here last year. And the US government was didn't give the tarvel permit. We didn't hear too much bout Indonesia. Now that we came, owww we love it! Very beautiful country and all the people is so nice. ANd now that we think comin to Indonesia many many times for the next years.
T : I've got a question 4u. Maybe this is the most boring questioned. How did u came with the name Good Charlotte? Who is Charlotte?
B : We're named the band, when we're only 16. It's actually the name from the book.
T : Last night i was opened ur official site, when i read on the guestbook, everybody talkin about ur fiance Sophie. Tell me about Sophie like who she is, how did u meet, .... is she one of the groupies???
B : Noooo! She a very succesfull singer and actress. And we met in LA, and she's from Australia. She's very wonderful girl.
T : What makes Good Charlotte's diffrent with another band?
B : I think, we just write alot a song and we really love our fans. I dont know it thats make our diffrent with another band, but we just keep it real.
T : Which one of the most effective way to promote the music? TV, radio station or internet?
B : All of it, together.
T : I heard "Keep Your Hands Of My Girl" was remixed by a famous DJ. Aren't u affriad the sound going to cheesy?
B : No. I love alot of remixes and i think that's cool if rock music going to dance sound.
T : When the last time u've got hammered? And Have u ever on the stage with hangover condition?
B : Waaaaaaa, last week dude! And ABSOLUTELY! It's rock n roll u know what i mean?
T : What the most expensive stuff that u bought recently?
B : Hahahaha, i've got the car, Harley and i bought the diamond for my girlfriend too.
